If you are a complete beginner it is advisable to take a 6 week beginner’s course or private one to one sessions in order to familiarise yourself with the basic movements and key terms. You can then join one of the weekly group sessions at your level.

Please remember that if you are new to exercise or you are having treatment always check with your doctor or therapist before joining a pilates group.

A client enrolment form must be completed prior to your first session and this can be downloaded from this page. If you are unable to print you can complete one when you arrive at your session.

Ideally, you should wear comfortable, close fitting clothes such as leggings and a t-shirt. We normally work in bare feet or socks, so trainers are not necessary.

All equipment such as mats are provided – so, just bring yourself , a small towel and a bottle of water!

It is advisable NOT to exercise if you have been drinking alcohol, eaten a large meal or are taking painkillers.
